Christopher TS #5

Do Jun and I talked on January 29th for out fifth tutoring session. He and I, as usual, talked about several different topics. Notably, we talked about the differences in age between Korean age and the rest of the world. I grew up with my Korean friends telling me they were a different age, but I never understood it. Now I understand that Korean people are born 1 year old and that on the Lunar New Year, everyone turns one year older. We talked about the differences in haircut culture and he told me that guys go on a date right after their haircut! Maybe it's just a me thing, but I have never done that or been even close to being able to that. I always have to go home and shower. Although this seemed like a small little detail, we were both equally shocked. That's just one of the many cool things that I get to be a part of as Do Jun's tutor!
