Christopher CP #4

It was the day after Valentine's Day. What a day. Dakhil had invited me to a get together at his house that evening and I was excited to go. When I arrived I saw many familiar faces and many I did not know. I brought a friend with me, and as is usual with people in this community, they were very nice and welcoming to the both of us. They were playing music and I took advantage to socialize and catch up with everybody. I spoke with Soojin, asked Miguel how he was feeling since his car accident, chatted with Yahya, and met several other people. My favorite part was that at the end of the night, we were all gathered around the table talking about our countries. I was amazed when Dakhil, Zayed, and Faisal were telling me about Saudi Arabia. I felt like I had been very misinformed towards their country and it was fascinating to see pictures of their cities and learn about what their culture really is like.
