  On Wednesday at approximately 3:00 PM, I met with Hongfu Wu outside of the CIES center on the same bench we agreed to meet at last Friday.  We walked inside and met up with her friends.  Mohammed Shaek, my tutee, also joined the conversation.  Eventually, the conversation ended up just being the three of us.  As discussed in my other post, we talked about uber/lyft and tipping in restaurants.  Mohammed, Hongfu and I also talked about our different cultures and the different things that we eat.  We talked about our favorite foods and what each of our countries' delicacies were.  Mohammed went on to say that in Saudi Arabia, they eat with their hands.  No utensils.  I told him that it was odd that they do that because we are so used to using forks, knives and spoons.  He then told me that it is a normal thing to do, especially in the Arab world.
