Do Jun and I had a nice conversation in the early hours of the morning this February twelfth. I asked him about what he likes to do in his free time. Surprisingly, we ended up talking about an MTV reality show named Siesta Key. I had never heard of it, but as soon as I googled it I was disappointed in Do Jun and did not miss the opportunity to tease him about it. He laughs and knows that the show is stupid, but he enjoys watching it because it helps him kill time and practice English. We talked about the different keys in Florida, and I told him to listen to Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet if he really wanted to learn about the Keys.
Towards the end he asked if I could help explain the difference between ache, sick, and hurt. Again, they have the same translation in the Korean-English dictionary he has. I was able to explain it to him and he seemed to understand. I quizzed him a little at the end and asked him to use the words in a sentence. He seemed to understand their usage.
