On this day I met my tuttee, Kubra, and we went over vocabulary. She started reading a book called The Guilty and she chose a list of words from the book that she did not understand. The words she choose were assassin, chambered, bullet, Ally, deserted, vacant, crouched, bribe, and slew. For each word we first focused on pronunciation and she wrote down how she could naturally say it. Next, we focused on definition and the various meanings or depth of the words. Then she created sentence examples and wrote them in her book. We finished the tutoring session by coming up with a story using the words she learned.
