I had talked to Suyeol about teaching me to make 떡볶이 ever since the movie night, but we had not had a chance to do it until the Potluck for TEFL class was decided. Suyeol sent me many videos and messages about how to make 떡볶이 and even offered to let me come over to his apartment while I made it so I did not mess up. However, the finals week for CIES caused him to be very busy so I could not go to his house because of my job. Suyeol and I met for a short while at the library instead of his apartment. He explained everything that went into making 떡볶이 and I showed him all of the ingredients that I had bought. I think that he proved to be a great teacher since the 떡볶이 turned out very well! It was very nice of him to be so willing to teach me a little bit about Korean cuisine.
