For this tutoring session, which continued from the last, my tuttee (Kubra) and I focused on writing. I went through a paragraph of an essay she wrote and guided her into correcting some of her grammar mistakes. I also noticed she had a habit of using a words synonym in a sentence even though its synonym was not a good replacement. We also went over some big or low frequency words that could make her sentences better. For example, she wrote "this shows the difference between write and wrong" but suggested she say "this illustrates the difference between write and wrong." We continued like this until our meeting time was over.
