Michael TS#11

On 2/18/20 I met Renata in CIES to go over pronunciation and the passive voice. To help her learn the passive voice we completed a few worksheets together in which she had to change sentences from the active voice to the passive voice. We went over each sentence together and when she started to get a good hang of it, she completed the worksheet. We than went through the answers together and any mistakes were talked about. During this time, I also had Renata read her sentences aloud to help work on her pronunciation. I noticed that she pronounces the -es in words with a strong e sound. This is a pattern that I noticed in her speech through conversation so we went over some words that have the -es ending such as loves and lives. We practiced words that she finds hard pronouncing and recorded her saying them correctly on her phone  so she could review them at any time. It was a great tutoring lesson and I believe that Renata grasped the concepts very good.
