Christopher TS #15

Do Jun and I had our 15th session on the 21st of February. As has become the norm, we started our conversation talking about the expanding Coronavirus. Since we had last spoke, the confirmed cases had gone up to 200! That was quite scary for the both of us. We also talked about his dad and his health. I am happy to report that it is at the very least, stable. He also told me about there being demonstrations in Gwanghwamun Plaza. This lead to me looking it up, and talking about the statue of Admiral Yi Sun-Sin. He told me about the turtle shaped boat that he created to fight off the Japanese. This was interesting and it made me talk about one of the heroes of Guatemala, Tecun Uman. It was very nice to share this with him because he seemed very intent in listening to what I was trying to tell him, just like I was when he was talking about his country's history.
