  On Wednesday at approximately 3:00 PM, I met with Hongfu Wu outside of the CIES center on the same bench we agreed to meet at last Friday.  We talked about each others days just as we did last week.  Again, we went inside and downstairs to have a casual conversation with her and her friends.  We talked about what we had done the past weekend and about what we were going to do in the future.  Her and her friends also asked me about tipping uber/lyft drivers as well as waiters/waitresses in restaurants.  I explained to them that tipping in restaurants is basically mandatory because the tip is usually not included in the check, unless told otherwise.  I told them that the normal tipping percentage is about 20% and it is also based on the service.  If the service is excellent/good, then you tip fairly well.  However, if the service is bad/terrible, then you don't necessarily have to leave a tip, but if you do, then it's very small.
