For this tutoring session I helped my tuttee Kubra proof read and correct an essay she wrote based off a prompt in her IELTS workbook. The prompt was about the death penalty and whether it was a justifiable punishment. I thought this prompt was perfect for her because she practices law for a living. I went through her essay and guided her correction of grammar and sentence structure mistakes. She then read her essay out loud and I helped her with any pronunciation mistakes. Again, I was hoping that this would help her improve her speaking accuracy, while helping her remember the corrections that she made.
