Michael TS#4

In this tutoring session Renata wanted some help with pronouns. This is something that she had learned about in the past but needed some brushing up on to use in her journals, homework, tests, and in speech! I prepared a worksheet and some examples to go over with her. We began with some simple examples of pronouns in sentences, but she seemed to be most confused about subject and object pronouns. I supplied her with some of examples of these and asked her to also give me some examples. We began with he, she, and it for subject pronouns, and him, her, it for object pronouns. After each example she wrote, we discussed what was great about the sentences while going over any mistakes made. After this we finally went over we, you, they, us, you, and them. We mainly went over these within the worksheet I supplies. We were running out of time as Renata has a conversation partner meeting, so I had her finish as much of the work sheet as she could for next time, and had her write down any lasting questions. Renata seemed to have much better grasp on pronouns and forming sentences with them after this session!
