During the seventh session, we focused on having a speaking and listening lesson. We interviewed each other and asked each other’s thoughts on specific subjects. This helped Seokbin’s ability in being able to hold a continuous conversation with abrupt conversational topic changes. They were times where he needed to pause to think about what he wanted to say, but he was able to adapt to the topic change quickly and provide his own thoughts and feedback. I feel that Seokbin’s english is improving and he is becoming more relaxed during our lessons. This helps him not make as many mistakes because his affective filter is lowered.
