During the thirteenth session, Seokbin wanted to take control of the session and teach me about Korean culture and the K-Pop boy band history. This was a way for him to feel comfortable and to talk for an extended period of time. I was able to learn more about the music industry as well as provide relevant American examples and connections. The way that Seokbin structured the lesson was like a presentation and allowed me to correct his spoken english much more than I normally would have during a tutoring session. Seokbin seemed to enjoy the lesson since he was able to share personal things that he enjoyed.
