Last Sunday, I met with my tuttee Kubra and we went over new words out of her IELTS text book. We started out by going over the definition of each word, next, she found an example sentence from the internet, then, I made a separate example sentence until she understood the words meaning. When we finished that portion, she was tasked with making two of her own sentences with the word. If the example sentence she came up with was not correct, I had her come up with a different sentence until the words were used correctly. The words we went over for this session were acknowledge, authority, chunk, and crucial.
