During the eighth session (continuing off of the seventh session), we continued with the interviewing process. Throughout our lesson we talked about multiple subjects and we were able to educate the other on our home country. We discussed: our satisfaction with our jobs, cultural differences between America and South Korea, South Korea in general, K-Pop (Seokbin brought the topic up), and Seokbin’s frustration with learning english. He discussed how he felt that he had hit an area where he has plateaued and is no longer improving. I told him that that was not true and how I saw improvement from him in such a short amount of time. I ended the lesson and challenged him to speak english at home as much as he could with his wife, Choi.
