Ahmad and I met for our final CP meeting on Sunday, 2/16, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
We met for coffee at All Saints Café. Once we'd grabbed some drinks, we settled down for a discussion about Ahmad's progress with CIES and what are—in his personal opinion—the best methods for learning a new language.
Ahmad also gave me tips and pointers for my upcoming final project (in which I'll present a lesson to an actual CIES class). He stressed the importance of looking sharp, giving students clear directions, and always allowing plenty of time to ask and answer questions.
Before we left, we both agreed that we'd meet again—someday, somewhere.
