On Wednesday at approximately 3:00 PM, I met with Hongfu Wu outside of the CIES center. We went to the back of the center and sat in the courtyard and had a casual conversation about our days. I asked her how her quizzes and presentation had gone earlier in the week. She said she did fairly well, but the presentation was cancelled because of the severe thunderstorm that had occurred the previous week. We talked about how she is going to UT to complete her TOEFL exam. She explained to me what it was and what she needed it for. She was nervous about taking the exam because she's taken it before and was one point away from the acceptance rate here at FSU. We talked about our weekends and what we were going to do in our free time once this session ended.
