For this tutoring session Renata and I mainly went over pronunciation for the most part. This is the skill that Renata most likes to work on due to it being less stressed in CIES. For this we went over any words that she has been having issues with. For this she has been making note of words in her daily life and ones that she recognizes in her classes. We usually go over some minimal pairs but this time we only went over words she was having issues with. She is still having some issues with words ending with -es and -ed but she has been able to correct many of the words we have gone over. I believe that the most helpful thing to improving her pronunciation has been recording her speaking the word in the correct way and reviewing it later!
