Michael TS#5

This tutoring session was done of Saturday at Starbucks with Renata! We met at 10:30 A.M. got some danishes and began our session. On this day we continued our prior session on the subject of pronouns, where I left Renata to finish a worksheet on pronouns. She finished the first part of the worksheet flawlessly so we went on to possessive pronouns, which comprised of the rest of the worksheet. In this worksheet, I had Renata complete sentences with the correct possessive subject and object pronouns. As she worked through them, I went over them with her, also working on her pronunciation of certain words, especially ones with the Wh- sound which she has a harder time with due to her native Portuguese tongue. Renata was able to grasp most of the possessive pronouns and how they are used, needing a little more help with mine, and our in which I asked her to write me some of her own examples for. We went over these examples and wrapped up this session with her filling in the blanks with all types of pronouns for a short story in which I found. Renata did fantastic and she really would like to work on her pronunciation of certain words.
