Today me and my tuttee, Kubra, took a break from our IELTS studying strategy and decided to go over the vocabulary words that we have created so far. We went over each words definitions and she created a new sentence using the words. I also, taught her some slang words that she would here in daily speech but did not know the meaning of. I later corrected a small essay that she wrote using all the vocabulary words we went over. The essay was very interesting and had a hint of her own interest in it; by that I mean she made a story about a witness testimony which she usually hears because of her job as a lawyer. She did make same grammar mistakes but I do think she is improving and quickly identifies them as she is reading.
