Tutoring Session #7

This past Monday, Abbas and I met for our weekly tutoring sessions during his lunch break at CIES. We began the hour by reviewing for a grammar quiz he had in the coming days, in which he is required to form sentences in the future tense. We practiced based on the potential quiz format, in which Abbas constructed sentences for a series of future weekly events as well as future daily schedules. Examples of such sentences included "On Monday, we will go to the beach." "We will be waking up at 8AM tomorrow morning. Then, we will be eating a delicious breakfast." He seemed to have a good understanding of the grammar topic and I believe that with a little additional practice at home, he will do very well on the quiz. Finally, we concluded the lesson by practicing adding descriptive adjectives to describe people, objects, and places and forming sentences using those adjectives.
